McNair Media App Launches in App Store

    McNair Media is proud to announce our own native mobile app for iPhone® and iPad® has launched in the App Store®. Our app provides up to date news, tips and tutorials to aid business owners and marketing managers. Content updates can be delivered via push notifications or widget. To display our commitment to privacy, the McNair Media app doesn’t require a user account and no user data is collected.

    ‘We’re excited to provide our our readers a native reading experience on the iPhone and iPad” said Erik McNair, President and co-owner of McNair Media. “Everything from dark mode to providing a home screen widget brings delight to reading our content on Apple’s devices.”

    This app was coded natively using Apple’s SwiftUI®, which brings speed and performance to the McNair Media app.

    “We’ve used a lot of different different development tools and languages. To us, the Swift language and the SwiftUI development tool brings app development to a point where small businesses, churches and schools can actually afford a custom mobile app. Our mobile app strategy is to build natively with the latest tools and languages from platform creator and use our website platform as the connective tissue to manage and deploy content to those apps.”
